by Juliana Camargo At: DebConf25 https://debconf25.debconf.org/talks/65-free-software-creation-ownership-a-designers-perspective/ When using proprietary creative software, designers must agree that their work will be used to train AI models, with no compensation provided. GIMP, Inkscape and Blender can be considered viable solutions to this problem. Free Software design tools give the ownership back to designers. They help creators protect their work, creative style and design process. In this talk I would like to start a discussion about what Debian and the Free Software world can do to further this interdisciplinary collaboration. Room: Méridienne Scheduled start: 2025-07-18 16:30:00+02:00
