However, there are frequent incidents where the speaker has to step in as a firefighter, whether to deal with malfunctioning services or servers, or even hacked companies. We'll take a look at the factors that contribute to such emergency incidents, and how they might have been prevented. In this talk we'll also examine tools and services which help to ensure the reliable operation of Debian servers. This talk is aimed at system administrators, forensics investigators, and anyone interested in improving the reliability of Debian-based systems.
